Half hour Aromatherapy massage sessions to adults with profound learning difficulties. The essential oils are individually selected for clients’ needs. "Linda has been visiting Windsor Drive since 1997 and our client group has been benefiting from her expertise in essential oils ever since. Linda got to know all of the clients on an individual basis; a difficult task as they all have serious communication problems. She worked with staff to gain knowledge of the needs of the clients and some staff were able to carry on with massage sessions following instructions from Linda." – Denise Fogden, Manager, Windsor Drive Residential Home, Dawlish Totnes Natural Health Centre - 1998 - 2001 Aromatherapy sessions on a donation basis one morning per week. This gave people facing some financial difficulty the opportunity for an introduction to arometherapy and to experience the benefits at a low cost. I found this to be very rewarding work. Wonford Hospice, Exeter - October 2002-2003 Working in a day care clinic one morning a week on a voluntary basis, offering Aromatherapy treatments to patients giving patients an opportunity to share their thoughts, relax and come to terms with their illness. I also offered treatments to carers or partners at the clinic from time to time. Working at the hospice has given me the experience and confidence that I feel I previously lacked. |
